It's hard to believe that an app as great as this one doesn't show how much RAM each app is using. But it does show it for every single process (which runs into the dozens for a browser). If you're wondering, “How much RAM is this app using?”, this isn't the app for you.

This app is great, the only feature I still cannot identify is the Sensor for temperature of SSD units, there are multiple "unknown sensors", with names like TCMb, TH0a, TH0b, etc. Is there a way to identify which Temperature sensor is for a specific SSD?

Visually and functionally the best app out there of system monitoring. Please add an option to combine all stats into one!

Pretty cool. The feature I use the most is the Sensors category, mainly its ability to show how much power in watts various parts of a Mac are using, including the CPU and the GPUs, and specific to Macbooks, the power being delivered by the power adapter and the battery, and how much power the Mac is using overall. I use these figures to see how much power my old Late 2013 Macbook is using, since its original battery is funky (almost 2000 charge cycles, and about 67% of its original design capacity remaining) and needs to be replaced soon, since it causes the Macbook to shut down or auto-restart if the power draw is too great. I can usually stop this from happening by running just the integrated GPU using the utility gSwitch, available here on MacUpdate (automatic graphics switching aggravates the problem--I turn it off in the Battery prefpane to make sure gSwitch can do its job), and dimming the display a little, but not always. The old, great "Hardware Monitor" utility can also display the Macbook's power figures, but the developer stopped selling licenses for it July 19 2021.

I really like this app - it works well and is updated regularly. I LOVE that the menu bar icon can show memory pressure by color - this is important to know when my M1 Mini is slow because an app is using too much memory. One feature request that would help me - is it possible to add a feature to optionally combine all subprocesses with the top process when looking at memory- for example, Safari has multiple Web Content processes. Sometimes it is helpful to know if Safari is using much more memory than normal.
